The problem: The moment you walk into the next room via those instance-portals in a dungeon WHILE there's Loot Auction happening, it's just gone. He's dead, Jim.

I LOVVVEEEE the current loot system in B&S, you've seen how many MMO's I've played and I might be biased because I either had bad experience with the other loot systems or seeing those for so long make them look very boring, but this?

AWESOME. You're a noob, low on gold and you have no clue what's going on ? Great, some dudes in your party bid on some stuff and you randomly receive X amount of Gold / Silver for participation. You're a veteran who stacked up tons of gold, sinks time and effort into the game and the item drops you want? Great, show those plebs who's the real Bill Gates. Talking about Gates tho.

WHY, NCSOFT, WHY do you (especially as a new player who does not know that) punish people for trying to progress in a dungeon and maybe even "speed" up the whole run? Your loot system is Blade And Soul Items. you show how much you care and then you pull a HiRez... Unnecessary and I see literally no point in continuing this frustrating (maybe not intentional) feature.

Can't scale ui elements individually
The problem: Simply seeing that you have a great UI Manager to move every single piece of the UI (even with UI snapping) and being able to scale the UI entirely (I for example use 90%) but then... you can not scale a UI element individually?

I generally think the UI is good, it has room for improvements tho.
Again, a lot of effort has been put in and at the last sprint, NCSoft sort of...gave up? Didn't consider it important? Make every single UI element able to scale.

Healthbar disappears when grabbing an enemy
The problem: While you're able to constantly see the enemy's hp bar (which should be a nobrainer), that sneaky little HP-Bar suddenly disappears when you grab them?
Everything's fine about how the game works in that regard. I recently started testing a Desu-troyer and its great fun doing the whole KAPOW into SWOOSH Piledriver thing. Shoutouts to Julianne Harty.

That seems maybe like a bug to be fair? I can't see how that is intended.
Keybinds don't work with Modifiers

The problem: The game simply limits you in the matter that you are not able to keybind modifier ALT, while being able to modify it with SHIFT

I know BnS very long time ago, my friends always recommended this game a years or two ago, but I haven't tried because BnS server located in China Mainland and Taiwan and of course Japan. I don't understand Japan or China language and I skip it for over several years. I don't have any experience playing BnS, but since the English server was announce a year ago, I kinda felt that the game is already old for me. That's what my friends told to me, my friends already play the game and hit the end game content. So I guess he won't playing on NA server.

But this is a good opportunity for me if I can try and find some first impression of this game. I heard a lot this is a good game, balance in PVP, great content, etc, but I haven't tried before because language barrier over a years ago. If I win, it would be great for me because the last CBT event from T0S is really disappoint me, the first CBT, I never got the key, the second CBT I got the Blade & Soul Items, but the devs block my region because it has already local server. I want to skip T0S by playing another game. The old one that have great content, which is Blade and Soul. I'm currently playing MH2015 as my game for over one year and I had a great time with the community and dev.

I've been avidly following this game since it was released years ago hoping for a localisation, infact I got an opportunity to try the game and had a blast but the language barrier relegated the full experience. I'm really eager to try the game again and see if it's worth a purchase especially since I'm worried it might feel dated in 2015. I'd be really happy if I'm selected for the key.

I wish to seek justice, bring vengeance upon the woman who killed my clan and defend the world from evil. (I've only played a couple of other MMOs but I'm usually not able to become fully enveloped in the story. I love the story line of the game and the concept that you are not the "Destined Hero" but you are just fighting for your own beliefs.

I just purchased a founders pack and I plan on making my character right after my classes today are over. I'm still kinda new when it comes to mmos as I've only reached max in Tera. I played a lot of Tera and mainly focused on PvP. In Tera there is most definitely a tier list on what classes are good and which are Blade And Soul Items. Is there a tier system in BnS as there is in Tera? Another thing is that in Tera I was a gunner/Slater main. What classes are similar to those in BnS?

You make it sound like you expect to have access to the servers today. This is wrong since the next beta will start on the 24th and only then you will be able to create a character.

You can however download the TW client and create your character there if you want to do it today (you can save the preset and use it in the western server).

Other than that, the classes aren't really comparable to Tera. I guess the Warlock would kinda fit the playstyle because it's a more stationary burst class than the others. But in my opinion, you should just pick whatever class looks cool to you.

Echoing what others have said and adding to it: it's a bad idea to decide on a class based on the current "tiers", as once 50 hits (which can't be toooo far behind), every class becomes pretty balanced, with warlock having a general edge. I think BnS is very much so find a class you play well and mesh with and that will undoubtedly be the best class for you; there's no class where a player can play mediocre and succeed against anyone with marginally more ability.

As for comparing against TERA: you really can't. I put a lot of time into TERA when it was released, as well as a year following, and I have yet to find a class that feels like it plays similarly at all, especially to get more BNS Gold. I'd just give up on looking for similarities and instead focus on what archetype you enjoy and go from there. It's also worth downloading the TW BnS and then taking each class you have any interest in playing to at least 10 to get a very basic and general feeling.

It takes more than warriors to make the world work. The Earthen Realm is filled with countless merchants, master crafters, and skilled artisans honing their work to perfection. Many have rallied together to form enormous guilds which reach every corner of the Realm, selling their wares and offering their services to the world... for the right price.
Contracts and Reputation
In a modern era of convenience, a warrior is no longer responsible for crafting their own equipment—it’s a practice better left to the professionals! Those looking to make use of the guilds simply need to speak with a Guild Representative, found commonly in major towns, to request a contract with Blade And Soul Gold. It’s possible to establish contracts with a maximum of two Gathering Guilds and two Crafting Guilds at a time. Specific Crafting Guilds use materials collected by specific Gathering Guilds, so it’s important that one does the necessary research to know which connections they want to make. While one can freely end contracts and start new ones at any time, one will lose their established reputation with the guild and need to start from scratch if they want to rejoin later!
Once a contract is established, a warrior can order various goods and services from a guild. After placing an order and paying a nominal fee, one must simply wait a while before the order is fulfilled for them. It’s best to place an order before adventuring, allowing the guilds to work in the meantime. All those wonderful items will be waiting when you return after a long day of righting wrongs and fighting monsters.

In order to make the finest goods, first one must gather the finest materials. Widely dubbed as Gathering Guilds, there are a handful of groups who travel far and wide digging up only the best components upon request. They are the lifeblood of the industry; without them, the Crafting Guilds would be lost. As one works with the Gathering Guilds, they will gain a reputation as being a reliable customer and thus gain access to rare materials over time.
The Gathering Guilds each specialize in sampling specific facets of nature. “The Stonecutters” gather earth and stone, while “The Prospector’s Union” specializes in rare ores and raw gems to Buy Blade And Soul Gold. “The Tree Fellers” and “Herbside Service” are in touch with the forest, gathering fine wood and healthy medicinal plants respectively. Since everyone needs to eat, it’s up to the “Green Thumbs” guild to farm crops, “The Trapper’s Alliance” to hunt choice prey, and the “Fish Network” to haul up the bounties of the sea.

In case you don't want to watch. Its a tournament final where a Kung Fu Master and Warlock Duel .. Each battle is often a back and forth.. NOT a domination. These are two skilled players having an excellent match.
Again (as i said in another thread,) if you guys get this game changed and or/nerfed we drop out of the ability to do world tournaments. PvE is already in causal mode, way to go proving that "we" are "too weak" to keep up with the pro's. We are number one as something tho! ... Complaining.

Well i slighty disagree, there is NO op class but! There are Class Combination where the enems is simply with the help of Blade And Soul Gold. As example. Assassin vs Summoner. The Assassin is the ONLY Class which starts with Zero Chi Orbs. You have to build up Chi first and then the damn Pet is always clinging on you making targeting the Summoner itself harder than you think.

I only PvE so I can't comment on PvP, but Warlock is the closest thing to "OP" the game has at the moment. Huge burst potential, very high uptime on a +Attack buff, lots of invincibility frames, CC for trash mobs, and the party buffs to end all party buffs: Spiritualize. It has caveats at Blade-Soul, mainly that you need at least the Hongmoon skill book for Raging Spirit in order to have high DPS, cast times making it immobile, and low DPS if you get unlucky with crits. I'd say along with Summoner it's one of the easiest classes to play and still blow mediocre players out of the water.
But of course a bad WL will still be a bad WL and is going to get out damaged by a good player of any class. And also God knows when NA is going to go through the effort of putting the class in the game in the first place.
